The Chevy Tahoe comes with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that produces 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Two other engines are available: a 6.2-liter V8 engine that makes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, and a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six diesel engine that offers 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

All engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and while rear-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive optional. This new Chevy vehicle is very large, but it handles like a much smaller car. It also offers a smooth ride, particularly if you choose the available air suspension or adapative suspension.
